Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies ("local storage") probbai.com uses, why, and how you can control them.
Our approach: strictly necessary only
We use only strictly necessary cookies — the small set required for the site and workspace to function, such as keeping you signed in. We run no advertising, analytics, social media, or third-party marketing trackers, so there is no consent banner to click through.
If we ever want to add optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before doing so.
Cookies we set
better-auth.session_token — keeps you signed in to the ProbbAI product after you authenticate. It is an HttpOnly session cookie (not readable by scripts) and expires when your session ends or you sign out. Only one active sign-in session exists per account at a time.
Browser storage we use
Theme preference — if you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is kept in your browser's local storage so the site renders the way you left it.
Upload progress — while a resume upload is being processed, temporary identifiers may be kept in your browser's session storage to show progress. They are cleared automatically when you close the tab and never contain personal data beyond these identifiers.
This storage stays on your device; it is not used to profile you and is not shared with anyone.
What we do not do
No Google Analytics, Meta pixels, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any comparable tracking service.
No cross-site tracking, no behavioural profiling, no targeted advertising, and no selling of browsing information.
No third parties receive cookie data from us, because no third party sets cookies through this site.
Error monitoring
To keep the service reliable, technical error reports (for example, an error message and the page where something failed) are sent to our error-monitoring processor under contract (Sentry). These reports do not include advertising identifiers, are not used to track you across sites, and session recording is disabled.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in — the site cannot keep you authenticated without them.
Deleting the session cookie is equivalent to signing out. For everything else, no action is needed because no optional cookies are placed.
Changes to this policy
We post any changes on this page with a new "last updated" date. If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will obtain consent before they are set and describe them here.
